Packed with essential nutrients and free of gluten and dairy, these potato wedges are a flavorful way to support your overall wellness.
Potatoes often get a bad rap, but they are actually a great source of essential nutrients like vitamin C, potassium, and dietary fiber. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that supports immune function and helps fight oxidative stress, while potassium is crucial for maintaining healthy blood pressure and fluid balance in the body. The fiber in potatoes also promotes gut health by aiding in digestion and supporting a healthy microbiome.
The use of olive oil in this recipe adds a heart-healthy dose of monounsaturated fats, which are known for their anti-inflammatory properties and ability to support cardiovascular health. Additionally, olive oil enhances the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins from the potatoes, making this dish as nutritious as it is delicious.
Garlic and herbs like rosemary and thyme not only elevate the flavor profile of these wedges but also bring a wealth of health benefits. Garlic is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties, while rosemary and thyme are rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients that support detoxification and reduce oxidative stress. Together, these ingredients create a dish that’s not only satisfying but also supports your body’s natural defenses and cellular function.
These Roasted Potato Wedges with Garlic & Herbs are a versatile, nutrient-dense option that fits perfectly into a variety of dietary preferences. Whether you’re enjoying them alongside your favorite protein or as a stand-alone snack, these wedges are a delicious way to nourish your body and support your wellness goals.
